Vibha Jain Miller Named a 2019 Human Resources Leader of the Year

Recognition touts achievements in growth, innovation and community impact

RESTON, Va. (June 12, 2019) – Vibha Miller, Vice President of Human Resources for the Graduate Management Admission Council Vibha Miller(GMAC), a global association of leading graduate business schools, has been named one of DCA Live’s Human Resources Leaders of the Year.

DCA Live recognizes hundreds of business leaders, companies and non-profits across the Washington, D.C. area, working to celebrate individuals and organizations that are driving growth and innovation and making a positive difference in the local community and beyond. Honorees are nominated by their peers and selected from a broad pool of deserving professionals across a variety of industries.

Vibha joins just 24 other top human resources professionals in the Washington, D.C. metro area who are being recognized for innovative thinking, management skills and contributions to their organization and HR community.

Since joining GMAC in 2017, Vibha has led an enterprise-wide effort to attract and retain talent, strengthened GMAC’s comprehensive benefits offerings, and expanded the organization’s onboarding and learning programs. Vibha is a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and holds a Leadership Coaching Strategies Certification from Harvard University. She has given her time to a number of volunteer Boards in the area, and under her leadership, earlier this year GMAC was named by the Insurance Exchange as a Best in Benefits employer in the D.C. area.

The 2019 HR Leaders of the Year will be honored at a reception on June 12 in Washington, D.C. hosted by DCA Live.
