Frequently Asked Questions about the GradSelect Search Service

Starting June 30, 2025, GradSelect payments will be processed by Verifone/Avangate (dba 2Checkout), our new payment processor (merchant of record). Verifone will handle all billing, invoices, and tax documentation. Beginning March 31, 2026, customers will receive access to all purchased lead lists only after payment has been successfully processed.

Why is GMAC making this change?

We're modernizing our payment system to improve security, streamline the billing experience, and ensure continued access to GradSelect with up-to-date industry standards.

How will this affect my payment options for GradSelect searches?

You can continue to pay using a credit card, wire transfer, or check.

If you choose to pay by credit card, lead lists will be delivered instantly at checkout upon successful payment authorization for any purchases made starting March 31, 2026.

For wire transfers or checks, Lead lists will be released once full payment has been received and confirmed by our payment processor according to the instructions provided on your invoice.

Payments will not be accepted if sent to GMAC.

Can I store a credit card for future use?

Yes! After the transition, you can securely store a credit card on file with Verifone for faster, streamlined access to your purchases.

Will my login or GradSelect account change?

No. Your login credentials, search history, and platform interface will remain the same. Only the delivery access is changing.

Can multiple users from our organization share a stored credit card?

Yes, depending on how your organization manages access. If authorized, the stored card can be associated with your organizational account for shared access.

Are there any changes to pricing or terms?

No—this transition is only related to delivery access. Your subscription fees, product access, and usage terms remain unchanged.

Will there be any downtime during the transition?

We don't anticipate any disruption in access if you update your credit card information promptly and set up Verifone as new vendor in advance.

Can I opt out of using Verifone?

No, all GradSelect payments will go through Verifone. If your organization has concerns, we're happy to help resolve them—please contact us at gradselect@gmac.com.
