What is the Calendar of Events?

The Calendar of Events is an online calendar to list your schools recruiting events. Potential applicants can search for these events by location, date, and/or school name on mba.com, our website for prospective students.

What does it cost to use Calendar of Events?

The Calendar of Events is a free service open to organizations that accept GMAT scores. This service allows schools to post their events (including recruiting events, online events, scholarship deadlines, and application deadlines) online and prospective students to search for events on mba.com.

What can I do on Calendar of Events?

The Calendar of Events allows you to do the following:

  • Use a personalized, school-specific work area for creating, editing, and deleting information about recruiting events.
  • Automatically post and archive information about your events.
  • Create direct links from the Calendar of Events on mba.com to your school's website.
  • Post key deadlines for applications, financial aid, and scholarships.
  • List multi-school events with automated online approval.

How do I get access to the Calendar of Events?

To post content on the calendar of events, you must be a registered user on gmac.com and work at a university or organization that accepts GMAT scores for their program.

How far in advance can I list events?

You can post school-sponsored events (both on and off campus) up to one year ahead of the event date.

What about third-party events in which our school participates (e.g., the MBA Tour)?

Third-party event management companies may post their own events by creating a profile on gmac.com and contacting customercare@gmac.com for access to this service. If a third-party management company enters their events and adds your school, you do not need to add it separately.

GMAC will also post third-party events such as Forte Forum, the MBA Tour, and the World MBA Tour for you. We currently receive the school participation list from these organizations and post them on the Calendar of Events.

What if my school is participating in a third-party event, but is not listed as a participant on the Calendar of Events?

Third-party event management companies may post their own events by creating a profile on gmac.com and contacting customercare@gmac.com for access to this service. If a third-party management company enters their events and adds your school, you do not need to add it separately.

If you are participating in events like these and do not see your school listed as a participant, please send an email to customercare@gmac.com. Be sure to include the following information in your request: event name, date, location, and sponsoring organization's name, plus a contact at that organization.

What kind of events should I post?

Examples of events you might want to promote: open houses, information sessions, receptions, collaborative school-sponsored mini-forums.
