At Duke, this tremendous undertaking is being led by former Fuqua Business School Dean Blair Sheppard. Duke’s campus in China is just one example of the many high-profile business school programs moving into Asia Pacific from North America and Europe. While this movement certainly reflects the world’s growing interest in Asia Pacific as a center of graduate management education, it also raises some important questions. What are the implications for Asian business schools when well-established non-Asian schools develop a strong presence in the region? Blair will share his thoughts on the eastward-migration trend as well as his views on how Asian business schools can strengthen and differentiate their own brands globally.
