GMATCH MBA Fair Takes to the Internet September 19 and 20

RESTON, VA--(Marketwire - Sep 14, 2011) - Prospective MBA students will be able to meet admissions professionals from dozens of the world's top business schools later this month during a global online event developed and managed by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), owner of the GMAT exam.

The GMATCH Online MBA Fair, scheduled for September 19 and 20, will enable people interested in attending MBA programs to speak directly with admissions officials, discover effective self-marketing strategies and chat with prospective students -- all from the comfort of their own computer and at no cost. More than 4,000 students from over 125 countries have already registered for the event.

More than 60 business schools from over 10 countries have signed up to participate in the GMATCH fair, including London Business School, the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business, Fudan University's School of Management, IE Business School, Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, the Indian School of Business, UCLA's Anderson School of Management and Nanyang Business School.

The innovative GMATCH concept employs a rich graphical interface featuring virtual booths designed and run by each participating school. The online fair includes a multimedia auditorium with presentations on a variety of topics, such as choosing the best program and learning about the GMAT exam. The GMATCH fair also has a lounge to enable participants to network with school staff and other prospective MBA students.
