On Friday, February 23rd GMAC hosted the Americas 2018 TPO Summit. Here's a quick recap of this event.
On Friday, February 23rd the GMAC Americas team hosted the 2018 TPO Summit at GMAC headquarters in Reston, Virginia. 20 attendees representing 15 organizations joined us with titles including President and CEO, Tutor, Marketing Manager, and VP of Data Science. Attendees kicked of the day with breakfast and light networking.
Sabrina White, VP of Market Development – West, started the day with a warm welcome and prepared guests to receive remarks from GMAC President & CEO, Sangeet Chowfla. The agenda was full of GMAT, EA (Executive Assessment) and prep product updates along with a content-rich research session from Matt Hazenbush and Intro to Psychometrics session delivered by first-time Americas Summit presenter, Chris Han. Townhall discussions continued this year and were focused on the Integrated Reasoning section and test prep products.
Overall, attendees were satisfied with the event: 53% rated their experience ‘Outstanding’, 42% ‘Excellent’ and 6% ‘Good’. Sessions were rated between 3.29 (Introduction to Psychometrics) and 4.71 (Research Insights with Matt Hazenbush) which reflect opinions ranging from ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’. Attendees most enjoyed the presentations and opportunities to engage with GMAC staffers and would like to connect on topics such as supporting underrepresented minorities, test-prep product changes/updates and test-taking trends during the upcoming fall virtual session.
It was a pleasure hosting guests again this year and we look forward to engaging with you in the future.
