You are eligible to win the prizes described below because you were nominated to participate in the GMAC Corporate Recruiters Survey. In order to be eligible to win a prize or participate in the Drawing, you must complete the survey during the Term. If you did not agree to take such survey or otherwise received the email invitation in error, you are not eligible to receive the prize or participate in the Drawing.
1. ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible to enter the 2014 Corporate Recruiters Survey Drawing (hereinafter, “Drawing”), you must (i) have agreed to take and complete the 2014 Corporate Recruiters Survey (“Survey”) and (ii) be above the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which you reside at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of the Graduate Management Admission Council®, and their immediate families and those living in their households, are not eligible to participate in the Drawing. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply, including applicable economic sanctions and other international trade regulations.
2. TERM
The Drawing begins at 12:01 a.m. eastern standard time (EST) on February 12, 2014 and ends at 11:59 p.m. EST on March 21, 2014 (“Term”).
3. SPONSOR
Graduate Management Admission Council, 11921 Freedom Drive, Suite 300, Reston, VA 20190 USA, is the sponsor of the Drawing (“Sponsor” or “GMAC®”).
4. TO ENTER
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. During the Term, Potential entrants will receive an email from Sponsor with a link to the Survey. To enter the Drawing, click on the link complete the survey questions, and provide your email address during the Term.
You must complete the survey during the Term to be eligible to receive the prizes described below.
LIMIT: ONE (1) ENTRY PER PERSON AND EMAIL ADDRESS. Subsequent entries will be disqualified. All entries become the property of Sponsor. They will not be returned or acknowledged. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, or illegible entries, or for any computer-related, online, telephonic, or technical malfunctions that may occur. Entries are void if they are in whole or in part illegible, incomplete, damaged, irregular, altered, counterfeit, produced in error, forged, mechanically reproduced or obtained through fraud or theft. By entering you agree to be bound by these Official Rules. If you are entering on behalf of your employer, these rules are binding on you, individually, and your company.
In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. A selected entrant may be required to provide Sponsor with proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the selected entry.
Sponsor will be collecting personal data about participants when they register and enter the Drawing. Any use of participant’s personal data will comply with the terms of Sponsor’s privacy policy located at GMAC Privacy Policy.
5. WINNER
All entrants will receive via email at no cost to them, the summary of survey results. The information will be provided to everyone who completed the 2014 Corporate Recruiters Survey by email at the email address that participants provided upon entry. In addition, during the Term, Sponsor will be awarding the following Prizes:
Prizes: Ten (10) Prize winners will be selected by random drawing to receive a gift card or gift cheque in US dollars in an amount equivalent to $500. ARV: $500 based on the interbank exchange rate as of March 15, 2014 published by oanda.com.
Total ARV: US dollar equivalent to $5,000.
All decisions on all matters pertaining to the Drawing are final. Winner is responsible for any and all taxes, delivery fees, and/or costs related to the processing, maintenance, set up or receipt of the prize by the winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Limit one prize per person, family or household. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. If a winner is a subject to the US tax law (US citizen or US resident), he or she must complete and submit to Sponsor IRS form W-9 prior to receiving the prize. Winners may be ineligible to receive a prize if prohibited by applicable economic sanctions or other international trade regulations.
6. WINNER NOTIFICATION
Random selection of the potential winner will occur on or about March 31, 2014 from among all eligible entries received. Prize drawing will be conducted at Sponsor’s office in Reston, Virginia. The potential winners will be notified by email on or about March 31, 2014. Potential winners will have fourteen (14) days from notification to claim his or her prize. Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, agents, officers and directors, advertising and Drawing agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees and their respective agents will not be liable for unsuccessful efforts to notify a winner. The prize will be delivered by first class mail. No prize transfer, assignment or substitution by winner permitted. Sponsor may substitute the prize for one of equal or greater value. All federal, state and local taxes, fees and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners. If any potential winners declines the prize, fails to claim the prize, is unavailable for prize fulfillment, fails to abide by the Official Rules, or is ineligible, Sponsor may select an alternate winner from all remaining eligible entries. If any prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, that prize is forfeited and Sponsor may select an alternate winner from all remaining eligible entries.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
- Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Drawing.
- By participating, entrants and winners release Sponsor, its affiliates, parent, and subsidiary companies, its employees, agents and officers, advertising and promotion agencies, as well as all others associated with the development and execution of this Drawing, from and against any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from the Drawing and the awarding and use of the prizes. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation or transmission; communications line failure; theft or destruction of or unauthorized access to Drawing entries or entry forms; or alteration of entries or entry forms.
- Participants also agree (a) to be bound by these Official Rules; and (b) that the decisions of Sponsor are final on all matters relating to the Drawing. Winner agrees to be bound by these rules and the decisions of Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding.
- If you are acting within the scope of your employment, as an employee, contractor, or agent of another party, you warrant that such party has full knowledge of your actions and has consent thereto. You further warrant that your actions do not violate your employer’s or company’s policies and procedures.
8. LAWS
This Drawing is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, without regard to the conflicts of law provisions.
9. WINNERS LIST
To obtain the names of the winners, send a request, along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope, to: Legal Department, Graduate Management Admission Council, 11921 Freedom Drive, Suite 300, Reston, VA 20190 USA. (Residents of Vermont need not supply postage.) You will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement prior to receiving the winners list.
