Sangeet Chowfla

President and Chief Executive Officer

Sangeet Chowfla has more than 35 years' experience in P&L Management, General Management, Product Management, International Business Development and Venture Capital investment, gained in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, India and the Middle East. His particular area of expertise is the management of high-growth enterprises, the creation of high-performance teams and the internationalization of business. Sangeet joined joined the Graduate Management Admission Council in 2013.


Joy Jones

Joy Jones

Chief Product Officer, General Manager of Assessments

Joy Jones joined the Graduate Management Admission Council in 2017. She leads the product team, overseeing the growth and diversification of GMAC’s portfolio of assessments, which includes the GMAT exam, NMAT by GMAC, and Executive Assessment. Her team is also responsible for the organization’s industry leading psychometrics function, test integrity and product development. Jones has more than 22 years of experience in driving global product portfolios and distribution platform management, and has held product, sales, business development and operations leadership roles. Her experience includes a 13-year tenure with the Associated Press, and an executive role at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young in their Telecom Media Networks consulting practice.


Kevin LeFew

Kevin LeFew

Chief Technology Officer

Kevin LeFew was named GMAC's Chief Technology Officer in October 2018. LeFew oversees GMAC's global technology roadmap, architecture and systems development. LeFew and his team are responsible for initiatives to transform GMAC's platforms and services to the graduate management education industry through digital technology. In addition, LeFew serves as GMAC's chief security official. LeFew's career spans more than 25 years with a broad range of leadership experience in the technology and information services arena, both as a consultant and in leadership roles as Senior Vice President, Technology Services for The Teaching Company and Vice President, Technology and Operations with the Gannett Company.


Maite Salazar

Chief Marketing Officer

Maria "Maite" Salazar joined GMAC in April 2019 as the Chief Marketing Officer. In her role, she oversees global marketing solutions for the organization, including advocacy, market intelligence, brand, professional education, corporate communications and digital marketing. Prior to GMAC, Maite served nearly a decade with Reed Elsevier Group, most recently as Vice President of Commercial Strategy, Marketing and Revenue Execution, responsible for global B2B and B2C strategy, and in a senior strategic role with the Royal Bank of Scotland. Maite is passionate about the intersection of the art and science of marketing, including educating the next generation of marketers, having taught at the University of Edinburgh-Management School, where she earned a PhD in Statistics.


Betty Su

Betty Su

Senior Vice President, Student Recruitment Services

Betty Su joined GMAC in 2015 as Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, and in January 2019 was named Senior Vice President and General Manager for GMAC's Student Recruitment Services division, which is focused on providing recruitment and marketing solutions. The new business unit includes subsidiaries BusinessBecause and The MBA Tour. Prior to GMAC, Betty served as Executive Director of Brand Marketing for the United States Postal Service, and also held leadership positions at Kraft Foods Group with a focus on youth brands and marketing.
