An International MBA can open doors to new opportunities and ways of thinking.
In this video, Andrea Vazquez Sanchez, from Mexico, and Dyuti Barjee, from India, share their experiences on the International MBA at emlyon business school in Lyon.
Andrea, who previously worked in tax strategy, joined the program to strengthen her leadership and soft skills and to pivot her career toward finance and strategy. Dyuti, with a background in digital and brand marketing, saw the MBA as an opportunity to prepare for senior brand roles.
Andrea describes how courses in negotiation, management, and communication have helped her grow as a leader, while Dyuti found that leading student clubs and projects pushed her to develop her confidence and teamwork skills.
They also reflect on life in Lyon—a city known for its gastronomy, culture, and international atmosphere—where they’ve found a strong sense of community and personal growth.
"I would recommend to any woman to take this year. It will be a life-changing experience," says Andrea.
