Often, the key reason for studying your MBA online is the affordability that it provides. Continuing to work while completing your degree means you can avoid trading in your salary to study. Online MBAs are also typically cheaper than in-person programs. 

So, what are the lowest tuition fees for quality Online MBA programs?

For the most part, Europe is a more affordable study destination than the US. That means you can find accredited, highly ranked programs that cost under $25k, and some are even cheaper.

Cost: £20,160 ($27,515)

QS Rank: 60 

The Open University is a UK-based institution that offers online degrees in a variety of subject areas. Its MBA is one of the cheapest Online MBAs in Europe, costing £20,160 ($27,515). It’s also the cheapest triple-accredited program on this list.

Students can truly study this at their own pace, with the program taking anywhere between two and seven years to complete. However, most students opt for a three-year duration.

Graduates of this degree were generally very pleased with what they got out of it. More than 80% of them saw an improvement in their work performance, and 74% agreed that the MBA has also benefited their employers.

9. Bologna University Business School 

Cost: €20,800 ($24,473)

QS Rank: 49 

Taught in Italian, the Online MBA at Bologna University Business School ranks among QS’ top 50 Online MBAs in 2025. It’s technically a hybrid program because all students must complete an in-person ‘smart week’ at the end of their degree, but as more than 90% of it is online, it is eligible for the QS Online MBA Ranking.

Taking an innovative approach to scheduling, the school organizes four-hour teaching sessions every Wednesday evening, with further sessions taking place on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings every three-to-four weeks. The program lasts between 16 and 18 months.

The BSN degree is taught over 24 months, requiring you to tune into live interactive sessions with a class of 20 fellow students. This makes for a more traditional study experience.

7. University of Aberdeen Business School

The cheapest UK Online MBA that features in the global QS ranking, the University of Aberdeen’s Online MBA takes place over 24 months and costs less than $23,000.

The program comprises 10 compulsory modules together with one optional course in either Corporate Finance, Fintech and Big Data, Social and Sustainable Markets, Consumer Behaviour, or Digital Marketing.

It’s designed to fit around full-time work, with flexible hours and 24/7 study access. Upon successful completion of the program, you’ll earn an MBA from the EQUIS-accredited University of Aberdeen.

6. EU Business School 

Cost: €19,050 ($22,429)

QS Rank: 36 

EU Business School has campuses in several locations, including a digital campus for students looking for online learning. Highly-regarded, the EU Business School MBA in Digital Business ranks 36th globally according to QS. It costs just over $20,000. 

Hosted in a Visual Learning Environment (VLE), the program provides access to learning materials and class recordings at any time. A hybrid format also means students gather to collaborate and network once each term for on-campus weeks in multiple locations: Geneva, Munich, and Barcelona. 

Students who wish to go further with in-person learning can add an in-person semester to their program.

The program offers a curriculum centered on several key pillars, including strategy, marketing, corporate finance, human capital, and innovation. The school employs a continuous assessment system, meaning there are no final exams, and your performance is assessed as you complete each module. 

Students who complete the EAE Online MBA can also earn a Master’s degree from the University of Barcelona.

3. Online Business School (OBS)

OBS offers a wide range of programs for students interested in remote learning. The Global MBA takes place over 12 months and focuses on developing students across four key areas: strategic management, economic analysis, developing business plans, and working in virtual teams.

Enrolling in the program gives you the option to tailor your degree with a specialization track focused on a key business area—supply chain management, finance, or marketing, for example—or to complete a general MBA degree.

Dubbed “The Flexi-MBA”, this Swiss-based program is also the cheapest Online MBA in Europe. Tuition fees are just over $10,000, which is a fraction of the cost of many programs in the QS Online MBA Rankings.

The program has a unique format. You need to complete five core modules and eight modules in total to earn your MBA, with each module taking around a month to complete. The study format is a mix of synchronous live classes and pre-recorded lectures.
