At Bentley, the STEM MBA program features a dynamic mix of courses that reflect the realities of today’s business world. Modules include Data Management and SQL for Analytics, Strategic Technology Alignment, and Generative AI for Business Solutions and Strategies.

For Taryn Bennett, a first-semester STEM MBA student and Bentley undergraduate alumna who is also currently working as a product analyst, the program’s real-world relevance is already clear.

“My courses have really helped me future-proof my career. It’s teaching me new skills that are already relevant at work,” she says. 

The program also offers students four specialized tracks—Accounting Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, and Financial Analytics—allowing them to tailor their degrees to meet their career goals and focus on the areas most valued by employers.

Armand adds that the curriculum, particularly the AI track, is designed with the future in mind, able to consistently evolve alongside the fast-pace change of industry. This focus on agility helps ensure students graduate with skills that remain relevant in the long term, along with an aptitude for continuous learning that will serve them throughout their careers.

“We’re not just covering AI as we know it today, but as we expect it to develop,” he says.

As Armand explains: “A future-ready leader is someone who can navigate ambiguity, make informed decisions, and feel comfortable in a complex environment.”

Despite only being in her first semester, Taryn highlights how the program’s emphasis on teamwork is already helping her develop practical, lasting skills for the workplace.

“Working in teams is essential in every class… that hands-on experience gives me real-world skills I already use as a product analyst,” she explains.

Taryn says she is already seeing how studying within a diverse cohort can benefit her career, helping her build genuine connections with peers who each bring something different to the table.

“It’s insane to see how many different people are in my course. It really adds to the diversity of experience and adds so much value,” she adds.

Faced with challenging projects and rigorous learning, students need to feel supported throughout their academic journeys and able to make mistakes they can learn from. This supportive environment helps build resilient, confident individuals ready to lead with empathy and self-assurance.
