For women in business to thrive, companies need to foster an inclusive environment that nurtures female employees’ talents and provides opportunities for progression.

With stark gender inequalities in the workplace—such as the gender pay gap and lack of representation in sectors like technology—the need for companies that champion women in business is as pressing as ever.

To discover the best large companies for women in the US, we have turned to Comparably’s Best Companies for Women ranking. The list is compiled from anonymous feedback submitted by thousands of female employees over a 12-month period—and companies needed at least 75 reviews to be included in the final ranking. It classes large companies as those with more than 500 employees.

Employees rated their experience across almost 20 culture categories, including compensation, career growth and opportunities, and satisfaction with their CEO. In addition to the data from Comparably, we have also sourced information about each company from their websites.

So, here are the best companies to work at for women, according to the 2026 Comparably list. If you have just completed an MBA (perhaps one of the best MBA programs for women) and want to work somewhere that values gender diversity, keep these organizations in mind.

25. LexisNexis Risk Solutions

LexisNexis, a data analytics company headquartered in New York City, ranks 25th on the Comparably list. The company is a regular feature in the Comparably ranking, and in addition to appearing in the top 5 percent of similar-sized companies for women, the company is also ranked highly for diversity.

Women at LexisNexis give the company high ratings for the executive team and CEO, with one female employee saying: “The leadership team genuinely cares about you as an individual, your professional success, and ensures alignment with broader company goals along the way.”

24. Informatica

Software development company Informatica has previously ranked as high as number two in the Comparably ranking, and this year retains its spot in the top 25.

One employee highlighted the strong work-life balance as being especially beneficial for women, as well as the company’s overall commitment to gender equality.

23. Trimble

Trimble is a technology services company that ranks highly for championing workplace diversity and inclusion. The company has already won several Comparably awards related to diversity, including Best CEOs for Women in 2022 and 2023, and this year, 78 percent of women working at Trimble agree that they are paid fairly.

One employee said their favorite aspects of working for the company were its diverse workplace organizations (including a Trimble Women’s Network) and its support for minority team members.

22. LHC Group

Healthcare services provider LHC Group in Louisiana is another company that consistently receives positive reviews from women; it has appeared in Comparably’s Best Companies for Women list in 6 out of the 9 years that the ranking has been published.

Female employees are most likely to give high ratings in the executive team and leadership categories, with CEO Josh Proffitt receiving an overall employee score of 86 out of 100.

21. Palo Alto Networks

Palo Alto Networks is one of the world’s largest cybersecurity companies, with offices in North America, Europe, and Asia. Of all reviews left on the company’s Comparably page, 94 percent are positive, and 80 percent of women say they are paid fairly.

Of the stand-out qualities of working at Palo Alto Networks, one female employee wrote: “Caring, making time for all employees, taking all of our questions, and the focus on women and other underrepresented people.”

20. Alkami Technology

As a digital banking company, Alkami Technology represents two sectors where women are traditionally underrepresented: finance and technology. However, feedback from women at the company points to an inclusive work environment that values women.

Alkami Technology employees rate the company highly for compensation, work environment, and the CEO.

19. The Breakers Palm Beach

Historic hotel The Breakers Palm Beach is one of the largest resort hotels of its kind in Florida, with over 2,500 employees. In addition to its multiple Comparably Best Company for Women awards, the organization has been named one of Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to Work For.

“Over the last 20 years I have worked with such an amazing group of men and women that are hard-working, respectful, and supportive,” one employee wrote for the Comparably survey.

18. Qualfon

Qualfon first appeared in Comparably’s Best Companies for Women ranking in 2025, but the company’s long-standing commitment to inclusion is clearly evident: 58 percent of all company employees, and 50 percent of team leaders, are women.

Overall, 93 percent of women at the company report a positive work environment, with high ratings for managers and the CEO. “They treat everyone fairly no matter their cultural preference or gender,” one Qualfon employee wrote.

17. Concentrix

Global technology services provider Concentrix has been named a Best Company for Women every year that the ranking has been published. The number of positive reviews from female employees places it among the top 5 percent of similar-sized companies, with 94 percent of women reporting a positive work environment.

Women at the company rated Team, Executive Team, and Leadership as the highest categories out of those scored.

16. Ardent Health Services

Healthcare provider Ardent Health Services has ranked among the best companies for women for five years in a row. Ardent supports its female employees with a specialist personal and professional development program, Women @ Ardent.

“Fair and gender-equal compensation is a reflection of the appreciation the company and leadership have for you,” said one female employee.

15. City National Bank of Florida

With just over 1,000 employees and 29 locations in Florida, City National Bank of Florida has developed a reputation as a positive place to work. “Trust is given and greatly appreciated and [it] engenders feelings of safety and creativity,” wrote one employee for the Comparably survey.

Women at the company give CEO Jorge Gonzalez a score of 78 out of 100, and 83 percent of female employees believe they are paid fairly.

14. Calix

Telecommunications firm Calix not only has its finger on the pulse of cloud platforms but also ranks as one of the best companies for women. Women make up one-third of its workforce, with 27 percent in management positions, and the company also offers affinity groups including Women at Calix and the LatinX network.

“It is a great company for female employees, with perfect work-life balance, and good employee benefits,” one Calix employee told Comparably.

13. Beacon Hill

As a staffing agency, Beacon Hill seems concerned not only with recruiting talent for other companies but also with nurturing its own talent. Most (85 percent) women at the company believe they are paid fairly, and women rate CEO Andrew Wang 88 out of 100.

“The women on my team are so supportive, genuine, and amazing,” writes one female employee.

12. Vector Marketing

Single-level marketing company Vector Marketing is known for its flexible work environment and employee benefits—but also for its commitment to women in the workplace. 11. Aveanna Healthcare

Aveanna Healthcare provides home healthcare in 39 states to more than 80,000 people, but its culture of caring extends to employees. “Aveanna is a company that works as one team and cares about the people, from the employees to our customers,” said one female employee.

Women at the company rate the executive team and CEO highly, and 71 percent of female employees believe they are paid fairly.

10. Adobe

Adobe ranks among the top 10 best companies for women, with 83 percent of female employees who provided feedback recommending working at Adobe. Women at the company rated Perks and Benefits, the CEO, and Happiness as the highest categories.

“Adobe is a company for all, equal pay for women, and representation across all backgrounds. I feel the work I put into this company is valuable because of the benefits and compensation I get back from the company,” said one Adobe employee.

9. Synopsys Inc

Systems engineering company Synopsys counts six women on its 14-strong senior management team, and that gender diversity doesn’t go unnoticed by the company’s female employees. “The most positive thing about the culture and environment is that there is no gender bias. More women are coming forward to take leadership and management,” wrote one employee.

Almost 80 percent of women at the company say they are satisfied with the perks and benefits, and CEO Sassine Ghazi earns an 88 out of 100 rating from female employees.

8. RingCentral

SaaSY Women and RC Women in Leadership are just two of the many Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) at RingCentral that seek to make women in business feel supported and elevated. Additionally, 81 percent of women at the company say they believe they are paid equally.

“The culture is encouraging, motivating, and respectful. I also love how RC has many women in positions of leadership, and that the company culture is overall supportive of women,” said one female employee.

7. Baylor Scott & White Health

Baylor Scott & White Health is the largest non-profit health system in Texas, with almost 50,000 employees. The company states that its mission is to promote the well-being of all individuals, communities, and families—and to that end, the organization has also been named a best company for diversity and workplace culture.

Women gave Baylor Scott & White the highest ratings in the categories of work environment, CEO, and managers.

6. TP

This global digital business services company fosters an inclusive environment for women in the workplace, according to Comparably; overall, 89 percent of women at the firm believe they receive equitable pay.

“Teleperformance promotes gender equality, promotes equal employment opportunity, especially for persons with disabilities, allows you to be yourself without being discriminated against, and provides an avenue for women’s empowerment,” said one female employee.

5. Nucor Corporation

Manufacturing giant Nucor has been named one of Comparably’s best companies for women in four of the last nine rankings. This year, it also ranked among the best companies for diversity, while Forbes named it one of America’s Best Companies.

Women at Nucor give CEO Leon Topalian a high rating of 94 out of 100, and 90 percent of women at the company say they are paid fairly. “Nucor teammates feel like family. Everyone is caring, respectful, and genuinely cares about you as a person,” wrote one employee.

4. Microsoft

Global software giant Microsoft is consistently named one of the best companies to work for, but it’s also one of the best companies for women in the US. In fact, female representation at Microsoft is highest in North America, where women make up 33 percent of the organization.

Women give the highest ratings in the perks and benefits, CEO, and compensation categories on Comparably. “Great leadership across the organization empowering women,” wrote one employee.

3. Workday

Global human resource management firm Workday states that its approach to diversity is about embracing everyone. Female employees at Workday rated Comparably’s Team, Happiness and CEO Rating categories the highest, while women in the business development department ranked Workday's culture the highest.

One employee said: “I love working at Workday where I feel valued every single day. Also love being part of a community of people who care about people and always look for the positive side of things.”

2. Elsevier

Publishing company Elsevier is the second-best company for women in the US in 2026, according to Comparably. It has a reputation for inclusivity and gender equality and previously ranked first in 2025 and third in 2023. It has also appeared in Comparably’s Best CEOs for Women rankings.

“Elsevier offers good opportunities for growth and career development. It offers a flexible atmosphere to work in, and women feel safe and happy because they are able to maintain a good work-life balance,” said one Elsevier employee.

ADP

Management services firm ADP is Comparably’s Best Company for Women 2026. Women comprise more than half of ADP’s workforce, and the company is led by female CEO Maria Black. Meanwhile, female employees at ADP are part of a company that hosts Women in Leadership events that bring together female executives.

“ADP provides equal opportunities and encourages women to grow and excel,” asserts one female employee at ADP.
