Each year, careers platform Vault surveys thousands of accounting professionals to compile a ranking of the best accounting employers. So, what are the top accounting firms to work for as we look ahead to 2027?
Within the list, companies are ranked using a weighted formula that reflects overall prestige as well as important factors for accounting professionals including quality of life, culture, satisfaction, work-life balance, training, compensation, and career development.

Schulman Lobel provides accounting, consulting, business management, and tax services to individuals and businesses in the US and internationally. The firm has offices in New York, New Jersey, California, and India.
Schulman Lobel is also an independent member firm of IAPA International, a global alliance of more than 180 accounting and consulting firms across 70 countries.
24. Frazier & Deeter
Atlanta-based Frazier & Deeter is one of the 50 largest CPA (certified public accountant) and advisory firms in the US.

The firm employs more than 200 people and serves clients across sectors including healthcare, technology, construction, nonprofit, financial services, and private equity.

Cg Tax, Audit & Advisory (commonly known as “Cg”) is a community-oriented accounting and profitability consulting firm headquartered in New Jersey. For its 2027 list, Vault has ranked Cg the best accounting firm for firm leadership and work-life balance.
