The Online Student Success Coach collaborates with students in thoughtful and creative ways that guide and motivate them to reach their academic goals. Through quality conversation and meaningful exploration, the coach will build and maintain relationships with a focus on goal setting, overcoming obstacles and achieving success, while adhering to established guidelines. The Success Coach builds working relationships with other administrative units and ensures students have access to necessary resources and tools.

Bachelor’s degree
Two (2) years of experience in one or more of the following: customer service, advising, student recruitment/retention or related student services
In lieu of degree, consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of education and experience
Organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management skills
Good written and oral communications skills
Ability to follow guidelines, structure and established policy while working with others
Ability to work with large populations of students
Being able to empathize and form relationships
Requires phone, texting, chat and social media communication


Experience with online programs
Experience related to life or career coaching, counseling
