Nearly 650 graduate business programs contributed data to GMAC’s latest assessment of key application trends.

Application Trends

Available for download September 22, the 2015 Application Trends Survey Report will feature data and analysis of year-on-year graduate management application volume trends, applicant pool composition, targeted candidate outreach, tuition assistance, and employer funding.

This year’s report also features data from several all-new survey questions on the following topics:

  • GMAC Application TrendsThe “ideal” business school candidate—Respondents were asked to list three adjectives that describe a candidate who would be an ideal fit for their program.
  • The average weight of admissions criteria in decision-making process—Respondents were asked to weight nine key admissions criteria to indicate their importance in making admissions decisions.
  • The impact of tuition on student demand—Analysis of the relationship between a program’s tuition level and its year-on-year change in application volume.
  • Application volume change today compared with 10 years ago—A long-term view of relative change in application volume.

Business school admissions staff can look forward to using these findings in planning, marketing, and recruitment activities, as well as to gauge their school’s position compared with regional and demographic market trends.

Check gmac.com/applicationtrends for this report beginning September 22! Business schools that participated in the survey will receive their advance copy of the findings via email prior to its public release.
