Gain New Insights into Your Candidate Pool: Participate in the 2015 Application Trends Survey!

App Trends

An increasingly global talent pool for graduate management education (GME) has been emerging for more than a decade, and GMAC has been there every step of the way, surveying business programs annually to measure the trends that influence demand for GME. This analysis of trends shaping the contours of the graduate management landscape provides global business schools with actionable data for program planning, marketing, and candidate recruiting.

Be sure your school is part of this year’s trends analysis and market insights by participating in the 2015 Application Trends Survey!

GMAC researchers sent out survey invitations on June 10th to graduate business schools and programs worldwide, so check your email inbox for your survey invitation. (You may need to check your spam folder, in case it landed there.) If you didn’t receive an invitation email, or if you are new to your school’s admissions or program office or to GMAC’s applications trends research, then visit to sign up and ensure that your programs are represented in GMAC’s application trends analysis for the coming school year.

The survey will be in the field from now through July 21st so you have plenty of time to contribute data about your programs.

Business schools will find that this year’s survey questionnaire has been updated with new content to better meet your needs, based on your many requests for additional analysis of survey findings.

Schools that participate in the Application Trends Survey gain a competitive advantage over their peers through the early receipt of survey findings and access to exclusive interactive data reports that offer in-depth examination of the survey results, including the capacity to explore detailed profiles of candidates by citizenship, region, work experience, age, gender, and academic qualifications. A benchmark report tool, another benefit available only to survey participants, is a free online service that allows your school to create instant benchmark reports comparing your programs’ responses against those of your peers. (Visit the Benchmark Reports web page on for a new demo of our interactive and benchmark report tool.)

Who Can Participate?

All graduate management programs worldwide are eligible to participate in the Application Trends Survey regardless of location, affiliation, admissions structure, whether or not your school is a GMAC member, and regardless of whether you accept the GMAT® exam as part of your admissions process. We encourage the participation of all your graduate business programs: full-time and part-time MBA, executive MBA, online/hybrid/flexible MBA, specialized master’s, and doctoral programs.
