Roxanne Buhl has been named director of the Grand Rapids MBA at the Western Michigan University Haworth College of Business. She was previously project coordinator for Davenport University’s Institute for Professional Excellence. Buhl has a bachelor of science degree in business management from the University of Phoenix and Master of Business Administration with a marketing concentration from WMU.

Brian Klaas is the new Senior Associate Dean for Research and Academics at the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business. Klaas was previously a management professor and chair of the Management Department. He earned BS and MS degrees from Illinois State and a PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

S.P. Kothari has been named director of the MIT MISTI-India Program. He was most recently deputy dean and Gordon Y. Billard Professor of Management at the MIT Sloan School of Management. He holds a BE in chemical engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad, and a PhD in accounting from the University of Iowa.

Laura Lee has been named chief of staff of the dean’s office for Columbia Business School, as of October 24. She was previously senior administrative director of the Eugene Lang Entrepreneurship Center. Lee received a bachelor’s degree in history from Yale College and an MBA in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Sharon Lydon is the new executive director of MBA programs at Rutgers Business School Newark and New Brunswick. She is a former RBS professor and former associate dean of academic programs. She has a BA form Gettysburg College, an MA from Columbia University, City of New York, and PhD in organizational behavior from George Washington University.
 
Alex Manga has been named director of the Kalamazoo and Battle Creek MBA programs at the Western Michigan University Haworth College of Business. He has taught management courses at WMU since 2009. Manga earned his bachelor’s degree and MBA at WMU, where he is working on his doctorate in interdisciplinary evaluation.

Joseph W. McDonnell has been named as the new dean for the University of Southern Maine College of Management and Human Service. He was most recently a research professor at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York. He holds a doctorate in communications from the University of Southern California.

Steve Maguire has been named director for the Marcel Desautels Institute for Integrated Management at the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University. He moves to his new position from associate professor of strategy and organization. He holds a BSc in chemical engineering from Queen's University, an MBA from the University of British Columbia, and PhD from École des Hautes Études Commerciales

Latha Ramchand has been appointed as dean of the CT Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston. She most recently was associate dean, programs and administration. She received a master’s in economics from Bombay University and a PhD in finance from Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Glenn Shafer has been named dean of Rutgers Business School-Newark and New Brunswick. He was most recently the director of the business doctoral program at the school. Shafer received his bachelor’s degree in mathematics and his doctoral degree in statistics from Princeton University.

Monte Swain is the new associate director of the MBA program at the Brigham Young University Marriott School of Management. An accounting professor at the school, Swain holds bachelor's and master's degrees in accountancy from BYU and a PhD from Michigan State University.

Steef van de Velde is the new dean of the Erasmus University Rotterdam School of Management. He has been a professor of operations management and technology at the school. He holds an MSc in econometrics from Erasmus University and a PhD in mathematics and computer science from Eindhoven University of Technology.
