Yiorgos Bakamitsos has been appointed assistant dean for executive education at Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business. Bakamitsos is an assistant professor of marketing. He holds a BS in business administration from the American College of Greece and an MBA and a PhD from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

James Brodzinski joins Valparaiso University as dean of the College of Business beginning July 1, 2012. He has been the dean of the Saint Xavier University Graham School of Management. Brodzinski holds a bachelor of fine arts in photography, a master’s in organizational communication, and a PhD in human information systems, all from Ohio University.

Donald R. Lemma is associate dean and chief information officer (CIO) for Columbia Business School, effective January 18. Lemma most recently was CIO and director of the computing division at Stanford University for the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. He received BS and MPA degrees from Rutgers University and a PhD in computer information systems from Nova Southeastern University.

Lance Masters has been named dean of the University of Bridgeport School of Business. Masters most recently was provost at Enderun Colleges in the Phillipines. He holds a BA in economics from the University of California-Riverside, an MBA from California State University-San Bernardino, and master’s and PhD degrees from Claremont Graduate University.

Anya Reid is the new executive director for development and external relations for the North Carolina State University Poole College of Management. Most recently, she was assistant dean for external relations and development at the University of California-Davis. Reid received a bachelor of arts in history from Davidson College and an MBA from UC-Davis.

Kendall Roth is the senior associate dean for international programs and partnerships at the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business. He is the J. Willis Cantey Chair for International Business and Economics and was most recently chairman of the school's Sonoco International Business Department. He received a bachelor of university studies from Oklahoma State and a PhD in international business from the University of South Carolina.

Martin S. Roth will serve as the chairman of the Sonoco International Business Department at the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business. He is a professor of international business. He holds BA, MBA, and PhD degrees from the University of Pittsburgh.

John M. Trapani III is the new head of executive education at Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business. Trapani is professor of economics, Streiffer Chair in International Finance and executive director of the Goldring Institute of International Business. He holds three degrees in economics, a BA and MA from the University of Texas-Arlington and a PhD from Tulane.

Theodore Zorn has been named pro vice-chancellor of the Massey University College of Business in New Zealand starting next year. He is currently head of the Department of Management Communication at the University of Waikato. He has a BA in English from the College of Charleston, and a master of arts and a PhD in communication from the University of Kentucky.
