Mary Clark has been appointed assistant dean of the Liautaud Graduate School of Business at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She was executive director of Winning Workplaces and has a BA degree from Mount Holyoke College and an MBA from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University.

Ed Grier is the dean of Virginia Commonwealth University School of Business as of March 8. He retired in October as president of Disneyland Resort. He received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.

Peter Blair Henry is the new dean of New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business. He was previously professor of economics at Stanford University Graduate School of Business and led the Obama Transition Team’s review of the International Monetary Fund, World Bank and other international lending agencies. He holds a BA in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; a BA in mathematics from Oxford University; and a PhD in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Kathy Krawczyk has been named Dixon Hughes Professor at North Carolina State University College of Management’s Jenkins Graduate School of Management. She is professor of accounting and director of the Master of Accounting program. Krawczyk received a bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and a PhD from the University of Texas at Austin.

Edward A. Snyder will become dean of the Yale School of Management beginning July 1, 2011. Snyder is retiring this summer as dean and George Shultz Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He received his MA in public policy and PhD in economics from the University of Chicago.

Caron St. John has been named dean of the College of Business Administration at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She was associate dean for research, graduate programs and outreach in the College of Business & Behavioral Science at Clemson University. She has a BS in chemistry from Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA and a PhD in management from Georgia State University.

Samuel Wathen, professor of management and associate dean of the E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration at Coastal Carolina University, has been named interim dean of the school. Wathen earned a bachelor’s degree in forestry from the University of Illinois, an MBA from Oklahoma State University, a master’s degree in forestry from Virginia Tech, and a PhD from the University of Minnesota.

Sheela N. Yadav is the new dean of the University of Indianapolis’s School of Business. Yadav was director of undergraduate business programs and has served as interim dean since July 2008. She holds a PhD in engineering management from the University of Missouri, where she also earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

Mary Ellen Zuckerman has been selected as dean of the Ithaca College School of Business as of July 1. Zuckerman served as dean at the SUNY Geneseo School of Business from 1999 to 2008, where she is a professor. She holds PhD and MBA degrees from Columbia University.
