Michael J. Deotte was appointed director of the University of Connecticut’s Full-Time MBA Program. Deotte has served as the UConn School of Business’ director of marketing since 2000. He is a 1993 graduate of Bryant University and earned his MBA at UConn in 1998.

Erin Ernst has been promoted to director of admissions for the Full Time MBA Program and Evening MBA Program at the University of Washington’s Michael G. Foster School of Business. She was previously assistant director of admissions. Ernst has a bachelor of arts in economics from Western Washington University.

Susan Gilbert has joined Rutgers Business School as executive director and associate dean of MBA Programs. Gilbert was previously the associate dean of the Evening MBA Program at Emory University's Goizueta Business School. She has a PhD in economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Andrew Lyasoff has been named associate professor of finance/economics and mathematics at Boston University School of Management. Lyasoff comes from BU’s College of Arts & Sciences Department of Mathematics, where he holds a joint appointment, and also serves as director of the Graduate Program in Mathematical Finance. He received his B.S., M.S., Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Sofia, Bulgaria.
Parker H. “Pete” Petit has been named chairman of the Board of Advisors of Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business. Petit will serve a two-year term as head of the 37-member board. Petit holds an MBA from Georgia State and was a 2007 inductee to the Robinson College Business Hall of Fame. He is president of The Petit Group, an investment management organization.
Jud Saviskas has been named executive director of the University of Connecticut (UConn) School of Business’ Stamford campus, effective July 1. Saviskas is currently the school’s executive director for career services. He previously headed Fairfield University’s alumni career services and founded and managed People Management, Inc., a human resource consulting firm. He is a graduate of Brown University and holds an MBA in marketing from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.

April Schleig is the new MBA admissions director and advisor at Western Kentucky University. An alumna who earned her bachelor’s degree, MBA and leadership certificate from Western Kentucky, she has been working in small and medium business sales at Dell Computers regional office in Nashville, Tennessee.

Shuba Srinivasan has been named associate professor of marketing at Boston Unviersity School of Management. Srinivasan was on the faculty of the University of California at Riverside’s A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management since 1997. She received her BS in physics from the University of Madras in India, an MSc in physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, and a PhD in marketing from the University of Texas–Dallas.

Daniel Volchok has joined Northeastern University's Graduate School of Business Administration as the director of program and student services. Volchok was previously vice president of student development at Endicott College and a consultant in higher education technology.  He earned both bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration from Ohio University and doctorate in higher education administration from Teachers College, Columbia University.
