Anne Murray Allen has been named director of the Executive Development Center at Willamette University’s Atkinson Graduate School of Management in Salem, Ore. Murray Allen served as managing partner of her own business planning and organizational effectiveness consulting firm in Colorado before a 16-year career with Hewlett-Packard, where she most recently served as senior director of Knowledge and Intranet Management.

Larry Cox has been appointed associate professor of entrepreneurship at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management. He served as director of the Entrepreneurship Center at Ball State University's Miller College of Business. Cox holds PhD, MA, and BS degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and was previously director of the Weinert Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Kevin Groves is a new associate professor of organizational theory at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management. He most recently served as an assistant management professor at California State University, Los Angeles and director of the PepsiCo Leadership Center. He earned his PhD and MA degrees from Claremont Graduate University and a BA degree from Eastern Washington University.

Consuela Knox has been promoted to senior associate director of admissions and diversity recruiting manager at Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management. She is a 2004 Owen graduate. 

Lauren Rowe, a 2003 graduate of Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management, has been appointed senior aide and project manager for the dean.

Brooke Smith is the new associate director of admissions at Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management. Smith, a 2001 graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill's Kenan-Flagler Business School with a BS in business administration, was a senior associate at Deloitte in Washington, DC, and managed campus recruiting for Deloitte in Nashville.
 
Judith H. Washburn has been named director of the University of Tampa’s MBA program. She joined UT in 2003, teaching both undergraduate and graduate students as an associate professor of marketing at the John H. Sykes College of Business. Washburn earned a bachelor’s degree from Drake University, an MBA from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and a doctorate from Saint Louis University.
