GMAT™ Bus Gears Up For Fall Tour

The GMAT Mobile Test Center is a full-length bus outfitted with the same high-tech testing facilities found at permanent GMAT testing centers around the world. The bus includes six complete GMAT testing stations, high-speed data connectivity via satellite, and electronic security systems.

Between October 2006 and May 2007, the bus visited 49 cities in 27 U.S. states, testing candidates in each of those cities. Some 400 candidates took the GMAT exam on the bus.

GMAC is currently developing a schedule for the mobile test center’s 2007-08 tour. “Building on lessons learned from the center’s pilot year, the bus may visit fewer cities this year, but it will spend more time in the cities where it does stop,” said Peg Jobst, senior vice president, GMAT program. “Some planned stops may be as long as five days,” she added.
