Cathleen Burns has been appointed Associate Dean for Programs the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Burns is also spearheading the AACSB reaccreditation process. She holds a PhD from The University of New Mexico, an MBA from Xavier University in Ohio, and a BS from Miami University of Ohio. She is a CPA and a member of the Leeds School accounting division.

John T. Delaney has been named Dean of the University of Pittsburgh's Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business and College of Business Administration. Prior to this position, Delaney worked as the Associate Dean for MBA Programs for The Eli Broad College of Business and Graduate School of Management at Michigan State University. He holds a PhD in Labor and Industrial Relations and an AM in Labor and Industrial Relations from the University of Illinois, as well a BS in Industrial Relations from LeMoyne College.

Mohamed E. Hussein, PhD, was named Interim Dean for Graduate Programs at the University of Connecticut School of Business. Hussein has been a prominent member of the university’s business faculty for 25 years, having served the past three years as department head of accounting. Hussein obtained his PhD from the University of Pittsburgh. He obtained his MS at the State University of New York at Albany and his BS at the University of Khartoum.

Angelia Knight has joined the University of Alabama Manderson Graduate School of Business as the new Coordinator of Career Services. Previously, she worked in the UA College of Engineering, where she had various roles in Career Services and other activities. Knight received her BS and master’s degree from Mississippi State University.

Michael Murphy has recently joined the Boston University School of Management as Associate Director of the Office of Graduate Admission. Previously, he held the position of Assistant Director of MBA Admissions at Georgetown's McDonough School of Business. Mike holds an MEd from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, as well as an MBA from Georgetown University, where he also completed the  Landegger Honors Program in International Business Diplomacy at the School of Foreign Service.

Suresh Nair, PhD, was appointed Associate Dean for Graduate Programs at the University of Connecticut School of Business. Nair obtained his first MS degree at the Training Institute for Productivity and Industrial Engineering in India. He obtained his PhD and an MS degree at Northwestern University. He obtained a BS degree at the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur.

Pete Peterson was named Director of Executive Education for the University of Connecticut School of Business. Peterson is an instructor-in-residence at the UConn School of Business and director of its Program for Sales Excellence; he began teaching at UConn in 2002 as an adjunct professor of management. Peterson obtained an MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business and a BAS in management and accounting from Guildford College.

Anne Sandoe has been appointed Director of MBA Programs at the University of Colorado, Boulder, Leeds School of Business with responsibility for MBA recruiting, enrollment, and student services. Sandoe was formerly the director of MBA admissions and marketing and has been at Leeds for the past four years. Prior to working at Leeds, she worked in a variety of roles at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business; she started her career in the MBA area at Cornell’s Johnson School of Management.

Christine Sneva has been promoted to Graduate Programs Recruiter for the University at Buffalo School of Management MBA program and will manage recruiting in southern New York State, western Pennsylvania, the U.S. Midwest, the Washington D.C. metro area, Canada, and the Asia Pacific Regions. For the past two years, she has been primarily responsible for application processing, reporting, immigration handling, and database management for the UB School of Management.

Jill Terry is the new Executive Director with a focus on corporate programs and strategy for the newly joined MBA Program and Executive Development Program offices at the University of Colorado, Boulder, Leeds School of Business. Jill’s background includes directing the Executive Development Programs at Leeds. Prior to moving to Colorado, Jill worked at the University of Washington’s Business School as Director of Environmental Management (a center in the MBA Program), Director of Marketing and Admissions, and Director of UW’s Executive MBA Programs.

Meghan Wood joined the University at Buffalo staff in March as a Graduate Programs Recruiter. She comes with background in marketing from Fisher-Price® and Johnson & Johnson®. She will be responsible for application processing, reporting, immigration handling, and database management, as well as prospecting and recruitment for the following territories: Central and Eastern Upstate New York; the U.S. West Coast, Southwest, and Southeast; the United Kingdom; India; Pakistan; Afghanistan; and Central Asia.
