GMAC® Serves Up Podcasts

With podcasting fast becoming a staple of the Web, GMAC® is producing a series of downloadable audio files aimed at prospective MBAs and others interested in graduate management education. Listeners may play podcasts on their computers or transfer them to portable music devices.

In June, a group of recruiters from four high-tech firms—Electronic Arts®, IBM®, Intuit®, and Symantec®—met with us in California's Silicon Valley to explain how they conduct interviews and make hiring decisions. In October, we convened a panel of MBA recruiters from consulting firms Booz Allen Hamilton®, Deloitte & Touche®, and Watson Wyatt Worldwide® to offer advice on working in the consulting industry.

These podcasts are available through MBA Podcaster, an online firm that distributes audio programming to the MBA community. The programs are hosted by Mark Bisnow, a veteran radio broadcaster and head of Bisnow on Business.

GMAC® is also producing a series of podcasts filled with advice about preparing a business school application, tackling the GMAT® exam, and other key topics for prospective MBA students. David Wilson, president and CEO of the Council, hosts the programs. Dave’s first podcast, about the 2006 GMAC® Applications Trends Survey, is accessible at gmac.com.
