Learn to Make the Most of CareerLeader®

A key part of your job as a business school professional involves guiding your students toward smart choices about career opportunities. So plan to join us for a special summer seminar to learn how to take full advantage of the popular CareerLeader® software package—and arm yourself with timely and effective ways to help people put their MBAs to the best possible use.

This intensive, three-day workshop will give you hands-on CareerLeader® training with Jim Waldroop, one of the tool’s creators. Participants can bank on achieving a high level of expertise in interpreting CareerLeader® results; training time will be split evenly between maximizing CareerLeader® and improving the career-counseling process as a whole. The counseling portion of the program will include instruction and hands-on exercises, and attendees will also have the chance to role-play different types of students.

The program, offered in three cities, costs U.S. $450 per person, including breakfast and lunch each day. Participants will leave with certification of advanced training in career self-assessment and business career counseling. For more information or to register for a session, please contact Kelty White ( Click here for a syllabus of the program [link].

GMAC encourages all candidates who are considering an MBA to use CareerLeader® before they apply to graduate school and after they have had at least a year of post-MBA work experience.  The software is available for purchase through the store for U.S. $50.
