2005 MBA Leadership Conference Boasts Renowned Speakers

A top-flight corporate leadership expert and widely hailed executive coach are set to headline the 2005 MBA Leadership Conference, scheduled for February 2–5 in St. Petersburg, Florida.

This annual event, cosponsored by GMAC and the MBA Roundtable, is intended exclusively for top-level academic and administrative business school program directors and is designed to help the directors reflect on their approaches to graduate business education, with the goal of identifying potential improvements.

The conference will begin with a talk by Vijay Govindarajan, an internationally recognized business strategist who often speaks at industry events and corporate retreats. Govindarajan will show his audience how to strengthen an MBA program by analyzing the core ideas and theories that define it. Later, executive coach Marshall Goldsmith will demonstrate how senior directors at business schools can effectively embrace the kinds of innovative communications and management techniques used at the most senior ranks of the corporate world. Goldsmith’s well-honed approach to managing organizations has brought him acclaim across the business world and put him in high demand among corporate executives.
