The University of Texas at Tyler is creating a virtual manufacturing environment using video feeds from a factory in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico to illustrate concepts discussed in graduate management coursework.

Implementation Dates: August 2012-February 2013

Description: The project aims to immerse students into the factory’s operations, make the classroom concepts more relevant and to personalize the experience by introducing factory staff.
