Graduate management education institutions will need to manage complex change processes to reinvent themselves and ensure they remain competitive. This highly interactive workshop will provide participants with a change management framework to implement change within academia. The four E's framework – execution, emotion, environment, and entrepreneurship – provides the necessary tools to identify critical steps that need to take place for change to happen; emotions that may create barriers to change and strategies to deal with them; specific environmental factors that need to be addressed; and ways to empower entrepreneurial stakeholders such as faculty, who need autonomy and clear pathways to join the change process. Through the workshop, participants may take changes they seek to drive in their own institutions, and use the frameworks and ideas presented to arrive at an implementable set of steps.
