Las Olas I, II, III

Following his opening keynote, Dipak Jain will moderate a panel about the avenues three schools are pursuing to disrupt business as usual. Topics will include the University of Alberta’s introduction of a targeted MOOC to differentiate its brand; the impact of the decision at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management to withdraw from the University of California funding system; and Thunderbird’s alliance with Laureate Education Inc. The panelists will discuss the impetus for making these strategic shifts and explore the impact the decisions have had on reputation, rankings, and flexibility in their day-to-day operations. Join the discussion on how disruption and change at one school can make an impact on the entire management education landscape.
