What We Know About Student Motivations and Expectations

Friday | October 5 | 2012 | 1:00 pm - 2:30 PM

What motivates both young graduates and experienced professionals to pursue graduate management education? What do they expect in terms of academics, student life, and future careers? How have these expectations changed in regards to studying in Europe during the current financial crisis? These questions are key if your goal is to recruit students who have realistic expectations, fit smoothly into your classrooms, and are well prepared for good careers after graduation. This session will begin with GMAC research about candidate motivations and then offer multiple perspectives — from everyone from admissions consultants to recent alumni — to arm you with an understanding of how you are, and are not, meeting student expectations.
