How to Integrate Stakeholder Feedback into Admissions Criteria and Decisions

Thursday | June 23 | 2016 | 6:00 pm - 7:15 PM

The best admission decisions are not always determined by the highest GMAT or GPA.  We all know that great admissions decisions must be based on multiple factors which include gauging a candidate’s potential and fit for the program.  While many schools understand this and are already incorporating stakeholder feedback from different groups in the evaluation process, how many are using these very same stakeholders to inform their recruiting strategy in the first place?  This session will showcase how schools are proactively seeking stakeholder input from areas such as program management, leadership, career services, and student life to inform their entire admissions processes, including establishing admissions criteria, setting standards and crafting recruitment messages.

Speakers: Pejay Belland, Director Marketing, Admissions, Financial Aid, INSEAD; Dina Dommett, Director of Student & Programme Services, Said Business School, Oxford University; Moderator: Sara Neher, Director of Admissions at Darden School of Business, University of Virginia

Focus Areas: Assessment/Student Life/Career Services
