Data Analytics: Using Information to Enhance Your Admissions Decision-Making

Thursday | June 23 | 2016 | 3:15 pm - 4:30 PM

We collect huge amounts of data regarding prospects, applicants, admits and enrolled students, but how can we use this information to enhance our recruiting and admissions strategies going forward? This session will explore a holistic approach to data, including how to get data and why, how to model data to answer key questions and identify gaps or problems, and how to visually represent data to communicate effectively with key stakeholders. This panel discussion will feature school professionals who have effectively mined their storehouses of information to create dashboards which support decision-making across the admissions funnel and beyond. The session will also demonstrate how GMAC research can support your data analysis efforts through benchmarking and other tools.
