Are Your Graduates Ready for Global Roles?

Peer Submitted ContentProfessors Mansour Javidan and Liesl Riddle will co-present this session focused on the development of the global mindset. The session will introduce the concept of a global mindset, what it means and why it is relevant to MBA graduates, followed by an introduction to the Global Mindset Inventory (GMI), a scientific instrument that is designed to measure an individual’s profile of global mindset. Examples of how business schools have successfully used the GMI will be presented, featuring the process that the George Washington University School of Business followed in using the global mindset framework to review and revise their MBA program, as well as how they have incorporated the GMI as a feedback mechanism for their students and as a learning outcome assessment tool.
