The Rise of Specialized Masters Programs: An Admissions Perspective

The past few years have seen a rise in one- and two-year specialized masters programs in a variety of subjects and targeted to a range of audiences (pre-experience, post-experience, full time, and part time). This session will provide an overview of recent trends and include discussions of different program types, regions, and candidate profiles. Our panel will feature schools that have recently added a number of specialized masters programs to their portfolios, focusing on how they have achieved program development from a marketing and admissions point of view, including defining a target market, timing launch, and resources necessary.
