Graduate recruiters are often tasked with increasing applications and enrollment without corresponding increases in marketing budgets. This session will explain why word of mouth marketing is a powerful, free tool that can be purposefully cultivated to help reach recruiting goals. We will discuss why WOM works, misconceptions about WOM, and, most importantly, real-world techniques that can be utilized by marketers and recruiters at little or no cost.
