Thank you to all who attended, speakers and experts who shared their knowledge and best practices, the GMAC 2014 Annual Conference Advisory Group, and everyone who helped make this program a success.

Registration Information
Registration Fee
The Annual Conference registration fee includes all scheduled meals and program materials. The registration fee for the 2014 event is US$950 per registrant. We invite you to take advantage of the 18% early bird discount (conference fee $779) running now through April 7, 2014.
We are excited to host your school. So that we can maximize the breadth of schools attending, if your school would like more than seven people to attend, please let us know. We will place any additional registrants (above the seven) on the waitlist for the present time.
Payment
Acceptable forms of payment include VISA, American Express, Discover Card, and Check.
Registration Confirmation
You will receive an email confirmation within 5 business days after receiving a receipt of registration. If you do not receive a confirmation, please contact programs@gmac.com.
Cancelling Your Registration
Cancellation
Refunds will be granted if written cancellation notice is received by email to programs@gmac.com on or before May 16, 2014. Refunds will not be granted after this date. Please allow 6 to 8 weeks for a refund.
Substitution
Registration substitution will be granted if: (1) written notice is received by email programs@gmac.com on or before June 4, 2014 and (2) replacement registration is submitted on or before June 4, 2014. Substitute registrants will be subject to a US$95 fee if original registration was submitted on or before March 31, 2014.

GMAC Admission Directors Symposium | Wednesday, June 11 - Thursday, June 12
Plan to attend the Admission Directors Symposium exclusively for decision makers in the admissions process!
Scheduled prior to the GMAC Annual Conference, this symposium allows you to learn directly from your global colleagues. You'll also have the opportunity to network with peers who do what you do. Attendance at this pre-conference symposium is limited to Admission Directors from GMAC Member schools.
The Admission Directors Symposium registration fee is US$200.

GMAC Annual Meeting of Member Schools | Thursday, June 12 | 5 - 6:30 pm
Deans and both primary and alternate representatives from GMAC Member schools will convene to discuss the overall direction of GMAC with the Council's board of directors and management. Note: per the adjusted membership guidelines, all representative changes must be completed by March 31, 2014; questions should be sent to governance@gmac.com.
- Sign-in for the Annual Meeting will be on Thursday from 4:30 - 5 pm
- The Annual Meeting will be held from 5 - 6:30 pm
- Primary and alternate representatives are required to attend this meeting.

Top Five Things to Do in Baltimore
- Baltimore Orioles Game at Historic Camden Yards: one of Baltimore's favorite summer pastimes. The Orioles play the Boston Red Sox on June 11 and the Toronto Blue Jays on June 12 - 13.
- National Aquarium: one of the best aquariums in the United States, highlights include a blacktip shark reef, the dolphin show, and the Australian exhibit.
- Fort McHenry: primarily known for the Battle of Baltimore during the War of 1812, when American troops stopped a British invasion. The battle inspired Francis Scott Key to pen what would be the the national anthem, "The Star Spangled Banner".
- Visionary Art Museum: home to a spectacular collection of beautiful, bizarre, and innovative art produced by self-taught invidivuals, usually without formal training.
- Historic Fell's Point: a historic waterfront community that has remained largely unchanged due to the foresight of historic preservationists. Fell's point is know for its interesting selection of markets, restaurants, shops and historic sites.

Adam Grant | Opening Keynote | Friday | June 13 | 9:15 am
Adam Grant is an award-winning teacher, researcher, and tenured management professor at The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He is the author of Give and Take: A Revolutionary Approach to Success, a New York Times and Wall Street Journal best-selling book that is being translated into more than two dozen languages. Malcolm Gladwell recently identified Grant as one of his favorite social science writers, calling his work “brilliant.”
Grant has been recognized as the single highest-rated professor in the Wharton MBA program, one of BusinessWeek's favorite professors, and one of the world's top 40 business professors under 40. His speaking and consulting clients include Google, the NFL, Merck, Pixar, Goldman Sachs, the World Economic Forum, the United Nations, the U.S. Department of State, Facebook, Estée Lauder, Apple, Microsoft, JP Morgan, the Royal Bank of Scotland, and the US Air Force, Army, and Navy. Luke Williams | Closing Keynote | Saturday | June 14 | 8:30 am
Luke Williams is professor of Innovation at NYU Stern School of Business, and executive director, Berkley Entrepreneurship Center at New York University; fellow, Global Innovation at Frog Design; and international bestselling author of Disrupt: Think the Unthinkable to Spark Transformation in Your Business.
Williams is a globally recognized authority on innovation leadership. He works with organizations on challenges ranging from creating new products and services, to transforming organizational processes and behaviors. Williams is a sought-after commentator on disruptive innovation, entrepreneurship, and cultural change. He is invited to speak worldwide, and his views are regularly featured in Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Fast Company, GQ, The Atlantic, The Wall Street Journal, NPR and MSNBC. What's New at the 2014 GMAC Annual Conference?
Our goal is to add to the GMAC Annual Conference experience each year based on feedback from you, our attendees. Below are some new features and activities to look forward to.
Annual Conference Advisory Committee 3.0.New participants from around the globe have helped create interesting and engaging global content.
More learning opportunities. We are offering 42 concurrent sessions this year, an increase from the average of 34 sessions in previous years.
A change of schedule. Based on previous feedback, our closing keynote has been moved earlier to ensure that more attendees can hear our dynamic speaker. In addition, to bring you the best content possible, select sessions will include virtual speakers and panelists.
More networking opportunities.To close the conference on a high-note, we've added a networking lunch on the final day.
Crowd sourced content. This year, we introduced a Call for Proposals (designated in the agenda as CFP Sessions) to generate content. As a result, we will have 12 sessions created and presented by you!
Volunteer opportunities. Would you like to help your colleagues glean key ideas from each session? Volunteer to summarize the key learnings of sessions you attend and you will be featured in a number of places on gmac.com.
Be inspired contest. We’ve developed a fun, new contest that gives you the opportunity to Be Visible, Be Social, Be Smart, Be Involved, and Be Connected.

As professionals in admissions, marketing, and program management, we’ve all seen first-hand the landscape of higher education evolve. This annual event will help you keep up with trends, brainstorm new ideas, make new friends, see old colleagues, and share a common understanding and appreciation for the hard work we do at our respective schools.
As longtime attendees, we are keenly aware of the significant value of GMAC’s Annual Conference and the learning opportunities it presents. We are specifically excited about the work that went into incorporating your ideas into this year’s conference. We are proud to host an event that you look forward to attending each year. Based on your feedback, the conference schedule has changed back to a Thursday – Saturday timeframe to allow for more opportunities to network, attend concurrent sessions, and learn how to overcome challenges and celebrate successes on a regular basis.
