We may be referred to as the admissions, recruiting or outreach departments, but sales is the core of everything we do. Our audience, regardless of size, demographic or culture, should perceive us as knowledgeable, authentic, and passionate. But what are the ingredients of a great presentation? What makes listeners feel engaged, empowered, and ready to take action? This hands-on, highly participatory session will explore the distinctions between good and truly great presenting, drawing from the Cave Hill Business School case study as a basis for discussion. Using techniques derived from the art of training actors in theater, the session will provide you with a framework for speaking from your mind and heart directly to the minds and hearts of others.
