We believe in supporting communities. We know you do, too.
The graduate management education community has embraced all that we offer, and we think it’s important to give back in meaningful ways.
Whether we’re encouraging volunteerism or providing funds for research and innovation, our thinking goes beyond our products and services to bring greater value to the people, institutions, and communities we serve.
Our Management Education for Tomorrow (MET) Fund initiatives formalize and enhance our long-standing commitment to investing in strategic philanthropic initiatives that benefit business and management education globally. The MET Fund's Ideas to Innovation (i2i) Challenge seeks the world’s best ideas for improving graduate management education, then funds the top proposals so they can be realized worldwide. We’re investing up to US$8 million dollars in these proposals.
The MET Fund supports the PhD Project, an award-winning program aimed at increasing diversity in the faculty of US business schools. The MET Fund also funds GMAC's Management Education Research Institute (MERInstitute), which awards fellowships and grants to faculty and students to fund data-driven research related to admissions, curriculum, career, and outcomes in graduate management education. Since 2005, we’ve awarded nearly US$1.4 million dollars toward this research.
We also support community service among graduate management programs worldwide. Prompted by our TeamMBA initiative, student, faculty, and staff volunteers from programs across the globe have donated thousands of volunteer hours and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for charities and community organizations.
