Participation in TeamMBA is free of charge and open to graduate schools of management education.

Building houses, raising money for research, feeding the hungry. Every semester, graduate business students find time to give back to their communities. As volunteers, they show through action that they are engaged, caring and committed to social responsibility.

To celebrate, promote, and publicize this outstanding work, the Graduate Management Admission Council® (GMAC®) started TeamMBA, the global initiative for community service by students in graduate management programs. TeamMBA offers an easy, rewarding way to link volunteer work at your school with similar projects worldwide. It’s our way to show the world that today’s graduate business students are about more than just making money—they are about making a difference.

Since GMAC® launched TeamMBA in 2005, hundreds of students, staff, and faculty from scores of schools have donated thousands of volunteer hours and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for charities and community organizations.

That’s a strong record, but we want to do even more. We’re encouraging more schools to join TeamMBA. We’ve started a new annual award that recognizes outstanding community service by business schools. We created TeamMBA Week, an international celebration that takes place each spring to highlight how graduate business students help make the world a better place.
