Admissions Institute for New Professionals – Certificate in Admissions Practice

Would you like to become more effective in your Admissions practice? Gain perspective and understand the current Graduate Management Education landscape? Answer ranking related questions with confidence? Maximize your outreach efforts? Interview more effectively? In essence, master the Admissions process while strengthening your professional network?

GMAC has worked over 60 years with graduate Admissions professionals from around the world. Steeped in admissions expertise and experience, we see the need for more formal education and training in Admissions practices. To fulfill this need, we are launching AINP Europe in October, a new and unique program designed to help participants master the admissions lifecycle.

Program Overview

The program is unlike anything currently offered in the market. Built around 3 interrelated Admissions competencies including Context, Outreach, and Evaluation, AINP Europe offers new courses on rankings, yield, and assessments that have never been featured at any GMAC events. Taught in a case study format featuring the Cave Hill Business School based in the European city of Londrid, students will be submitted to interactive classroom sessions aimed at teaching content and assessing the learning outcomes from each course. AINP Europe will provide you a Certificate in Admissions Practice following specific assessments and course completion.

AINP Europe will instruct and assess students on three topics

The program will provide participants with a deep dive into three foundational modules: Context, Outreach, and Evaluation. Learn more about the sessions in the course catalog below.

Maryke

"I attended the PDP (as AINP was called at that time) shortly after I joined as admissions manager at RSM a few years ago. To this day, the programme stands out as one of the most valuable I have attended. In the scope of a few days, I managed to get insights into all aspects of our industry and to gain a very good understanding of the graduate management education landscape. More importantly, I met industry peers that are still an integral part of my network today. If I were to employ new members in my admissions and marketing team, this programme would be the first I’ll send them to."

Joseph LiPuma

"Selecting and admitting students into graduate management education (GME) programs is getting harder and harder. The changing landscape of GME fostered by technology and the needs of Millenials, coupled with competition from new markets and changing demographics makes it more and more important to have a clear strategy and approach to identifying, selecting, and admitting the right participants for your programs. AINP Europe covers how admissions fits into the GME value chain, as well as topics such as how to convince audiences and individuals as to why your program fits their needs, how career perspectives of prospective students can be used to gain their confidence in you and your program, and how to engage them to enroll in a fashion that reduces melt and maximizes the conversion from prospect to enrollee. This is an essential program for any early-career admissions professional."
