GMAC’s annual Year-End Poll of Employers offers a snapshot of 2014 hiring results and projections for the 2015 job market.
The 2014 Year-End Poll of Employers gathered employment information from participating employers to provide a recap of actual 2014 hiring outcomes and an early picture of the 2015 hiring outlook for graduate business students worldwide. Findings project steady hiring demand in 2015 for MBAs and other business master’s graduates. The results give participating employers benchmarking statistics and provide business schools and students with an advance look at job market prospects. In 2014, 169 employers representing a worldwide cross-section of industries and companies responded to this study.

Highlights from the 2014 Report
- Employer Hiring Plans Holding Steady for 2015 Job Market. Nine of 10 employers that plan to hire business school graduates in 2015 expect to maintain or increase the number of job openings for this talent group compared with 2014.
- Salaries in 2015 Expected to Increase for Business Graduates. A majority of responding employers plan to increase annual starting salaries at or above the rate of inflation for new MBA and business master’s hires in 2015.
- Expansion and Growth Define Company Goals in 2015. Nearly two-thirds of employers categorize their companies as expanding and growing; these companies expect to hire a greater share of recent graduate business students in 2015, in line with their organizational goals.&nb
