The 2015 Year-End Poll of Employers gathered employment information from participating employers to provide a recap of actual 2015 hiring outcomes and an early picture of the 2016 hiring outlook for graduate business students worldwide. The results give participating employers benchmarking statistics and provide business schools and students with an advance look at job market prospects. In 2015, 179 recruiters representing 159 companies across industries and world regions responded to this study.

Highlights from the 2015 Report

  • Employer Hiring Demand for B-School Candidates to Remain Healthy for 2016. Three in 4 (75%) employers expect to hire MBA graduates in 2016 and 85 percent of this group plans to hire as many or more of these candidates than they did in 2015.
  • Salaries in 2016 Expected to Increase for Business Graduates. A majority of responding employers plan to increase annual starting salaries at or above the rate of inflation for new MBA hires in 2016.
  • MBA Internships Plentiful in 2016. Nearly 3 in 4 (73%) employers report that their companies offer internships to MBA students; among the companies that offer MBA internships, 92 percent plan to increase or maintain the number of MBA internship openings in 2016.
