Findings in the new 2017 Alumni Perspectives Survey Report show that more than half of b-school alumni surveyed last year currently work in industries and jobs they had no experience in prior to business school.

Nearly all survey respondents are currently employed: 8 in 10 for an organization and 11 percent running their own businesses and a majority are satisfied with their jobs and careers. Most alumni are very likely to recommend their business program to others, yielding high Net Promoter Scores—customer loyalty rankings—for business schools. Findings are based on responses from 14,651 graduate b-school alumni working in 46 countries worldwide who participated in the survey from September through November 2016.
