Position title: Assistant Director of Admissions
Reports to: Director of Admissions and Financial Aid
Main responsibilities: Participate in all aspects of the recruitment and selection process for the full-time MBA program, including interviewing applicants, evaluating applications, and conducting group presentations. Plan, organize and participate in domestic and/or international recruiting events and activities for prospective students.  Assist in managing the selection, training, and supervision of volunteer alumni interviewers, along with coordinating interviews for applicants with alumni interviewers. Collaborate with other admissions officers, student organizations and other departments to implement strategies to attract and yield high quality MBA candidates.

The director works with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including current students, alumni, faculty and administration to develop a strong pool of applicants and yield a diverse and academically superior class. The director is also responsible for creating and implementing an admissions and applicant assessment process that will yield a strong and diverse class all of which will maintain Wharton's position as a premiere MBA program. Extensive domestic and international travel is required. The director manages a staff of 16 full time employees and numerous part time and student employees.
