Admission Directors Symposium (ADS)

This invitation-only, pre-conference work shop is designed for Admissions Directors of GMAC Member Schools.  In this, its seventh year, we’ve revamped the program based on your feedback.  ADS will still provide the opportunity for you to network, share, and learn with colleagues through facilitated discussions, but we’ve also added some expert-led breakout sessions so that you can explore certain topics in depth.  Attendance is limited.

9:45 - 11:45 am  Expert Presentations and Facilitated Discussions
11:45 - 12:45 pm  Luncheon
1:00 - 3:00 pm  Expert Presentations and Facilitated Discussions
3:15 - 3:45 pm  Wrap Up

Expert-led topics will include Media Training, Presentation Skills and Emotional Intelligence. Registrants will be surveyed for facilitated discussion topic ideas and interest in facilitating.

You will be prompted to register for the Admission Directors Symposium when you register for the 2009 GMAC Annual Industry Conference.  You must register using the email address used in your invitation as it is linked to program and registration information.

Cost
There is no cost to attend the program.  Please note, however, that you are responsible for the cost of hotel accommodation on Wednesday evening, should you require it.

Other
If you are in the hotel on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 GMAC will be hosting an information reception from 5 – 6 pm, followed by dinner.
