2009 Keynote Presenters
Marjorie Scardino - Friday Morning Keynote Presenter
Marjorie Scardino is chief executive of Pearson, the international education and media business made up of Pearson Education, Penguin, and the Financial Times Group. Scardino is a non-executive director of Nokia Corporation and a member of a number of charitable and advisory boards, including the MacArthur Foundation, the Carter Center, and the Victoria & Albert Museum. In 2002, Queen Elizabeth II named Scardino a Dame of the British Empire (DBE).
Sir Ken Robinson - Saturday Morning Keynote Presenter
Sir Ken Robinson’s latest passion is showing how people who are “in their element”—doing what they love—both insulate themselves against unpredictable changes and contribute to a more productive society. This kind of passion is the subject of his Annual Industry Conference keynote speech as well as his newest book, The Element: How Finding Your Passion Changes Everything.
