Keynotes
Change is Good, or at least can be if you know the direction in which you are heading. University of Miami School of Business Administration Dean Barbara Kahn opened the conference, offering her experiences and expertise on branding initiatives in two very different types of institutions.
Rob Cross, professor of management at the University of Virginia and Research Director of The Network Roundtable, presented the keynote Leading in a Connected World. Most leaders have only a vague idea of the networks around them, and often don’t consider how to manage those networks to boost their organizations’ overall performance.
Bill Taylor, cofounder and founding editor of Fast Company, discussed why “A Crisis is a Terrible Thing to Waste” urging us to not learn the wrong lessons from the most recent global economic crisis.
