GMAT® Tests Taken by Gender

• Testing volume trends for male and female examinees appear similar over the 10-year period.

• In the 2006-07 testing year, the number of tests taken by males increased by 7%, marking a second year of upward growth. The number of tests taken by females also increased by nearly 9% over the previous year.

• Throughout the 10-year period, the male to female ratio has been nearly stable with an average of 1.58 male examinees to every female examinee.
