GMAC conducts a Year-End Poll of Employers every November to compare actual hiring for the year alongside a preview to employer hiring projections for the coming year. This year's report includes additional information about paid and unpaid internships.
The results give participating employers benchmarking statistics and provide business schools and students with an advance look at job market prospects.
In 2011, 229 employers representing 216 companies responded to the year-end survey.
