Participation is easy! Last year, 157 schools around the world took part in this research. Their joint efforts contributed to a survey sample of more than 28,000 employers from 15,000 companies, including Fortune 500 companies in the US and worldwide. Participants receive exclusive access to up-to-date market information and benchmarking opportunities.

How It Works
- Your school agrees to participate and designates a primary contact for the survey.
- The primary survey contact provides GMAC with employer contacts/details of companies who recruit your alumni or, with GMAC assistance, administers the survey using your school’s internal resources.
- The link to the online survey is sent to the companies.
- GMAC works with schools and employers during the project duration.
- GMAC provides participating schools and employers with complimentary comprehensive survey results. Note: We report information only in aggregate format. No individual school or employer data are released.
- GMAC deletes all contact information of nonparticipating employers from its systems.
Regardless of the participation method you choose, you may be certain that GMAC, EFMD, and the MBA Career Services Council (MBA CSC)—the three business school associations that sponsor and actively support this project—will provide you with access to exclusive up-to-date market information and benchmarking opportunities.
Why Should My School’s Employers Participate?
There are several reasons. First, every participant is entered in a drawing to receive one of five US$1,000 American Express gift cards or gift cheques. In addition, participating employers receive a report not available to the general public, namely, the Comprehensive Data Report, at no cost to them. Similar reports produced by a consulting company would cost, on average, $2,000 to $5,000. Furthermore, employers often tell us that they value the opportunity to take part in this research, as it gives them a chance benchmark their performance against the performance of similar organizations.
